More information on Sharing the World's Local Food ....

Each recipe has been thoroughly tested in the UK to ensure that the tastes is exactly as you will find in the recipe's native country and local area. We have ensured that there are no "anglecised" recipes.  They are real and what we experience when sat with the locals in far flung locations.  The family recipes passed down through the generations that we learnt will show you the secret behind how different countries treat their food and prepare it, so you can create these fantastic dishes at home easily yourself.

We give you relevant substitutions for when a particular local food ingredient is not available in the UK, show you the key skills and methods, as well as the ingredients that are central to each country's food. The aim of this book when travelling was to find out and then be able to show people how to make the world's more obscure "everyday life" dishes at home.

We wanted to show off the local food from around the world that people really eat, along with the stories and knowledge behind them, with quality pictures, maps of the route, information about local food we encountered.
