Although privacy issues could be flagged up here, from an ethics perspective it is considered acceptable for people to want to monitor their property and this can be considered true for VW property.  Warnings will have to be given that people have this new ability for people to watch their own rooms, but this is not an invasion of privacy but a way to empower users to moderate their own environment, as occurs today with formal moderators hired by Habbo.

Technical issues are particularly important here since images within the VW are in Shockwave format.  Additional development will be needed for this, unless a solution becomes available where this conversion to the Flash Lite GUI is more easily achieved.  This function will also place more demand on the server since more information is required for moving images.  This will therefore cost more to develop and require extra revenue to run.
